Saffron. Born in February 1998, male*, Birman (not Burmese!), sealpoint with blue eyes.

| Similarly to Teodor, Nikita climbes on trees very well (in both directions, which is not so common). Here he poses on a tree in our garden. It is very difficult to make a good photo with Nikita; he is too much interested in a camera and some strings connected to it. |  |

Nikita is depicted here on the
background consisting mainly of Teodor the Cat, in the course of the favourite activity
(of both Cats). On this picture he is four months old. For Nikita Teodor is a Master (or Alpha) Cat. Nikita looks at him as at the highest authority and is clearly jealous when Teodor comes back from his outdoor walks. Nikita himself rather rarely walks beyond the limits of our garden. He often sleeps in a wicker basket on our terrace. |
| Nikita has got a broken tail (and
this is somewhat related to his name, of course, in the Polish language: kita = tail).
However, this does not influence his habit of walking with the tail raised high. This is a
visible sign of his good health and humour. 'Low tail' means that we will have to go to a
vet - and he does not like such visits. Nikita is a stubborn cat, like all Birmans. He is also extremely sweet, showing his emotions in various ways - one may say, in a multi-media mode. ADVANTAGE: he does not felt. DISADVANTAGE: after he shows his love all dark clothes have to be cleaned. |
